Sifu Pedro Cepero Yee
began his martial arts studies at the age of 11,
studying the arts of Karate, Wing Chun and his chosen art, Hung Ga Kung Fu.
He has demonstrated his skills by way of competitions, performance, seminars
and classes across the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, United Kingdom, Europe,
Malaysia, Hong Kong and the Peoples’ Republic of China. He is a Senior Yup
Sut (In the Room) Disciple and adopted son of Master Frank Yee (Yee Chi Wai)
of the Tang Fong Hung Ga Lineage as well as being one of the first Americans
to be accepted into the Yee’s Family Lineage at the New York Chinatown’s Yee
Fong Toy Association and their world headquarters. He is a Senior Governing
board member of Yee’s Hung Ga International Kung Fu Association as well as
its President. Sifu Pedro C. Yee also has extensive training in Asian
Medicine first by assisting his Sifu, Frank Yee, in his NY Chinatown Dit Da
(Trauma Medicine) Clinic between the years of 1987-1991 and then studying
formally the art of Tuina
–Chinese Bodywork Therapy with Bill Helm, ABT, TS—Dean of Allied Arts,
Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, Director of the Taoist
Sanctuary of
San Diego as well as Studying
Western Swedish Massage. Sifu Cepero Yee is also an
accomplished author whose work is proudly displayed in the Wong Fei Hung
Museum in Futsan, Guangdong Province, Peoples Republic of China and has also
been featured in both national and international publications.
At Present Sifu Pedro C. Yee operates the Clifton, NJ branch of the
association and a Tuina Therapy Clinic full time. He also conducts ongoing
workshops in both Hung Ga Kung Fu and Tuina Therapy in the United States and
the UK. |
